Spent the day at the San Juan County Fair--a slice of nostalgia still alive and well in the islands. We saw chicken races, carrots that looked like the "Virgin Mary holding the baby Jesus" (don't ask), piglets, wonderful spinning wheels and weaving and, of course, the rides. Today's shot was an experiment with shutter speed--attempting to freeze the main subject and blur the surrounding area.
