Photo a Day (63): Music in the Rain

Ahhhh--another wonderful day in my home town. Drizzle, drizzle, drizzle. I had the opportunity to show my photographs in an artists exhibit at the 1st Annual Mt. Si Festival of Music. A nice concept in theory...thinking of course it would not be raining on August 7th. But, as the weather Gods would have it--down it came. The show must go on! And it did. We actually had a very wonderful early evening listening to jazz, choral and chamber music. Quite dignified, despite the rain. The shot today is of a wonderfully gentle man named Harley. Harley was the conductor of the choral portion of the program. I do not suspect Harley anticipated having to stand under an umbrella out of the rain to conduct his choir. Yet he did, and did it masterfully.

Shot Thought: Did not bring out the big gun camera today--another point and shoot in the rain--did attempt to get the mountain and cloud action in the background.
