A beautiful day spent in the cascades on the Pacific Crest Trail. Our destination was the Kendall Katwalk. The views did not disappoint. Ahhhh--to be atop a mountain ridge with 360 degree views! The red mountain framed in the rocks is...indeed...Red Mountain! The narrow trail with the vertical drop to the left is the katwalk.
Shot Thought: Three images today. For most of the shots today keeping the overhead sun a bay was first and foremost. Also, to get clarity from near to far a high aperture was used--but no tripod--so pushed it as far as I could.
