In my attempt to "rise to the next level" and add a bit of "grittiness" to my portrait photography--I got a little help from four teenagers who know what they like in a shot. We weathered 90 degree temperatures, sore arms from holding diffusers and numerous mosquitoes--but from behind the viewfinder it was a successful outing.
Shot Thought: Metered the light on the subject, diffused the sunlight on the subject and lowered the aperture to somewhat blur the background.
