Living in the shadow of a mountain is a wonderful thing. On stormy nights the thunder explodes with great power off the craggy face. But on sunny, blue sky days there is nothing more majestic.
Shot Thought: Shot #7 was inspired by a northwest photographer friend. I liked the idea of glass of some sort in the foreground capturing and magnifying the mountain in an upside-down state. The aperture was set at f8 - would have liked this shot better at a f2.8 so mountain was truly blurred out (which is why I included two shots--the vertical shot was at f2.8). Shutter speed was at 1/400sec. It was very bright out so exposure compensation was set at -2/3. White balance was set for a sunny day.
