The other day my daughter told me that she loves her grandma's hands. She said she thinks "her hands tell a lot of stories". This inspired me to find my way back to my mother's garden today. We set up this shot of my mother doing what she loves best and what brings her the most solace. The image is made a bit more meaningful by her wedding ring which represents a marriage of 54 years this August.
Shot Thought: Fairly simple set up--ISO 200, f5 for full clarity of hands and flower, 1/125sec. The main challenges was to place my mom's hands in a graceful manner around the flowers--more challenging than it sounds!
