The weekly challenge theme is "Patriotic". I have mixed feelings about the notion of "patriotism"...it means very different things to different people in this country. For the themed shot however, I chose what many would consider the most patriotic vision of all--a boyscout troop carrying the American Flag in a small town 4th of July parade. What I especially love about this photo is the scout in back checking out the girls on the sidelines of the parade!
