This is why I love my job. We had a retirement party tonight for one of our teachers and there was a lot of love in the room. (Did I get "a lot" right this time, Jane?) There were parents, kids and staff celebrating this woman's 40 years as an educator. It was great to see past students of mine who are now 16--I had them when they were in fourth grade...very cool!
The last picture is of a church that was near the venue of the party. I thought the sign a bit strange..."The Caring Church"...versus..."The Evil Church Where We Do Not Care...just give us your money and your soul!"
